Watch The Pilot Episode Of ‘The Grow Show’

By Kendall Fisher, executive producer of The Grow Show

In short:

  • Grow Wire has launched a new YouTube TV series called The Grow Show.

  • In 10-minute episodes, the series goes behind the scenes with entrepreneurs and businesses to learn how they grew their ideas.

  • The pilot episode features the Downtown Project, a company that transformed Downtown Las Vegas into a hub of energy and discovery.

I am so excited to write this post for quite a few reasons.

First of all… WE LAUNCHED A SHOW!

Yes, this is the very first episode of our new series, The Grow Show, dedicated to the growth stories of businesses and big ideas from people just like you! In fact, you’re the sole reason we’re launching this series. We want to tell your story, from start to finish, all the challenges and celebrations and everything in between. Think of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives for businesses and entrepreneurs. You may as well call me Girl Fieri.

OK, sorry for the bad dad joke.

The other reason I’m stoked is because this episode features a company that’s doing some incredible things in Downtown Las Vegas with employees who have genuinely found a way into my heart.

The Downtown Project is a for-profit company started in 2012 by Tony Hsieh with the goal of revitalizing Downtown Las Vegas and growing it into a hub of inspiration, entrepreneurial energy, creativity, innovation, prosperity and discovery.

Hsieh invested $350 million of his own money into revitalizing downtown Vegas: $200 million into real estate, $50 million into small businesses, $50 million into education and $50 million into tech startups.

And the outcome? Well, you’ll have to check it out in the video above!
